This is the book im gunna write and heres a little excert from it:

The asorted aircrafts flew in from every direction, each locking on to the thrashing creature that was destroying the city. It had obliterated most of the ground forces and was still tearing through the tanks and jeeps. They fired. Their missles raced toward the beast each hoping to be the first to strike.As each missle struck, the ground shuddered and the pilots heard a roar of rage and pain.
As the smoke cleared, the strike force began to cheer . . . but their jaws quickly dropped in disbelief, leaving the sounds of victory to die in the smoldering air. The barrage had destroyed everything . . . except the Dragon.
